It's a good idea! I can't take smoke at all. But all I want to know is, who will be the smoke officers?
Policing people on this campus is not an easy task. And the other factor that we forget is that the majority of students on the campus is Guyanese! They'll use their "innovative" ways to not get caught. Pun intended!!
We @ Guardie are in support of a smoke free campus. It's a bad habit that is dangerous! But with all fairness to the smokers, give them a place to smoke, some corner somewhere by the back gate or something!
Its not like UG got plenty smokers! At least where I am they seem to be a small bunch. So this is not a big deal!
If they were smoking in class that would've been a different issue.
And by the way, could someone please tell me where I could find this document about the fees being raised!! We @ Guardie still want to pick that document apart!
