I'm kinda disappointed that the University misses out on opportunities like these to display its culture. But then again, we don't have anything cultural going on on campus!!
I'm only thinking that as the top tertiary institution of the country that we ought to be embracing cultural things to preserve our heritage! But who am I to say that! I'm just another blogger right.
Now if I didn't happen to accidentally see some buntings hanging about the place somewhere in town I would've never have know it was independence time.
The campus aint even seh "Boo" to try to pull something off! All we want to do is party and have "slight lime"
We lost till we can't be lost anymore!
Anyway, happy independence! What ever it means to you, if anything at all!
