Sherod, [an ah cud call he full mouth now cause he’s no longer an elite], he seems to be taking his defeat very graciously, and I admire that, but we all know underneath that diplomatic smirk is sheer bitterness, anger, hatred and resentment to name a few. Somehow though, I don’t know why, but I’m very skeptical and VERY unoptimistic about this new “administration,” simply because I don’t know what the hell to expect from them. And that right there is risky. All I had fun go on [much like everybody else], was da lil freak show they put on at GWLT last week, which quite frankly was for nuttin but hype. Usually fuh me, when I choosin a “government,” or party, I gotta get sumtin substantial fuh draw me in. Nonetheless, they managed to trick us into voting, or not voting rather, so they cud capture the “reins of power.” Well kudos to dem fuh mekkin we a buncha jackass puppets! I really can’t help but shudder when I see how much of our national politics and exterior “mindset” has played into university life. For a supposedly “educated” bunch of people, we really shud be ashamed of ourselves, cause if this is the mentality we plan to apply next year in our “general elections,” Guyana gon be in for another 5 years of tyranny an bullshit. [God be with us]. I’m jus sayin….
…Smart people should complement their “smartness” with vision and mature action, and the poor and shallow display of interest that we showing in we own university affairs gon quite sadly carry over to our everyday life. An de same dunke-dam people who does quick fuh holla “which elections?” or “me? I ain’t voting!” is de fus ones fuh cry out and criticise when the result is na wa they want. How de flap it gon be wa you want when you ain’t do nuttin fuh change it? Well if we ambition fuh cumin to university is fuh be some lil dummie puppets, de politicians gon gladly “play” wit we. They gon stick a nice piece a string up we ass an bounce we around like they usually do!
